Vielgorsky Joseph Mikhailovich, count 1817-1839

Gentleman of the monarch's bed-chamber, son of Count Mikhail Yurievich Vielgorsky (1786-1856), oberschenk, master (along with his brother Matvei Yurievich) of a well-known music salon. Escorted Tsesarevich Alexander Nikolayevich ( future Emperor Alexander II) in his tour abroad, fell ill and stopped in Rome where died shortly after. In his last days made friends with N.V.Gogol.
